BOCLAA XR and BOCLAA XR Bridge (“we”, “our”, “the App”) respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app may process, why it is processed, and confirms that we do not collect or store any personal user data.

1. Data Processed Through Meta Quest Platform Features

BOCLAA XR uses certain Meta Quest platform features. All data processing occurs locally or temporarily for the purpose of enabling app functionality. No personal identifiers are collected.

Required Platform Features and Data Processing:

a. Hand Tracking / Controller Tracking

• Processed data: Hand position and rotation, gestures, controller state (buttons/triggers)

• Purpose: To interact with musical objects and UI elements

• Storage: Not stored or transmitted; used locally in real-time only

b. Passthrough / Mixed Reality

• Processed data: Camera-based depth information and passthrough frames

• Purpose: To render mixed reality visuals

• Storage: Not collected, stored, or transmitted; never saved or uploaded

c. Microphone Input (If enabled by the user)

• Processed data: Real-time audio for sampling or recording

• Purpose: To allow recording or sampling inside the app

• Storage: Audio remains on the user’s device; never sent to us

d. Network & Multiplayer (Photon Fusion)

• Processed data: Player transforms and simple avatar state (face mode, color, object selection)

• Purpose: To enable real-time multiplayer interaction

• Storage: Temporary session data only; no personal data is stored

e. Local Network (BOCLAA XR Bridge Only)

• Processed data: Local IP address, device discovery, temporary OSC/MIDI session messages

• Purpose: To connect your computer to the headset for music production

• Storage: Never stored or sent outside your local network

f. Device & Performance Logs (Platform-Provided)

• Processed data: Device type, OS version, crash logs, anonymous performance metrics

• Purpose: To diagnose issues and improve performance

• Storage: Only inside Meta’s developer analytics dashboard; contains no personal identifiers

2. What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

• Name, email, or account ID

• Photos, videos, or biometric identifiers

• Location/GPS or advertising identifiers

• Any other personal data unrelated to app functionality

We do not sell or share data with third parties.

Data is used solely for:

• Enabling hand/gesture interaction

• Rendering mixed reality visuals

• Supporting multiplayer functionality

• Connecting BOCLAA XR to BOCLAA XR Bridge

• Performance and crash diagnostics

We do not use any data for advertising or tracking.

• Most data is processed only in real-time and not stored

• Crash logs and performance metrics remain only in Meta’s secure developer tools

• The developer does not maintain any external database of user data

5. How to Request Data Deletion

If you wish to delete any data associated with your use of the App (including crash logs or analytics stored through Meta), contact us at:
