BOCLAA XR and BOCLAA XR Bridge (“we”, “our”, “the App”) respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the App, why it is processed, and how it is handled.

BOCLAA XR integrates with Meta Horizon Platform features. To provide these features, the App processes certain information made available by Meta. This information is used only to provide the functionality of the App and is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

• Meta User ID
• Basic Meta profile information made available through Horizon Platform
• Avatar information

Purpose

• Identify players during multiplayer sessions
• Display avatars and player identity where applicable
• Enable Horizon Platform functionality

Storage

• This information is processed only as necessary for app functionality.
• BOCLAA XR does not maintain its own database of Meta User IDs or profile information unless explicitly required for a feature.
• We do not sell or use this information for advertising.

Information processed

• Purchase status and entitlement information provided by Meta

Purpose

• Verify ownership of purchased content and features.

Storage

• Purchase verification is handled through Meta’s platform. BOCLAA XR does not store payment information.

Information processed

• Hand position
• Hand rotation
• Gestures
• Controller inputs

Purpose

• Enable interaction with musical instruments, objects and user interface elements.

Storage

• Processed locally in real time only.
• Not stored or transmitted by BOCLAA XR.

Information processed

• Passthrough imagery and spatial information supplied by Meta’s APIs.

Purpose

• Render mixed reality experiences.

Storage

• Processed locally.
• Never recorded, uploaded or stored by BOCLAA XR.

Information processed

• Audio recorded by the user.

Purpose

• Recording vocals and creating musical samples.

Storage

• Audio recordings remain on the user’s device unless the user chooses to export them.
• Audio is never uploaded to our servers.

Information processed

• Player position
• Player movement
• Avatar state
• Session information required for multiplayer

Purpose

• Synchronise multiplayer gameplay.

Storage

• Temporary session data only.
• No long-term storage of personal information by BOCLAA XR.

Information processed

• Local IP address
• Device discovery information
• OSC/MIDI communication messages

Purpose

• Connect BOCLAA XR with BOCLAA XR Bridge on the user’s local network.

Storage

• Used only during the connection session.
• Never transmitted outside the user’s local network by BOCLAA XR.

Information processed

• Device model
• Operating system version
• Crash diagnostics
• Anonymous performance information provided through Meta developer tools

Purpose

• Improve stability and performance.

Storage

• Stored only through Meta’s developer services where applicable.
• BOCLAA XR does not maintain its own analytics database containing personal user information.

Information processed by BOCLAA XR is used only to:

• Provide Horizon Platform functionality
• Display avatars and player identity
• Enable multiplayer features
• Verify in-app purchase entitlements
• Support hand tracking and mixed reality
• Allow voice recording and music creation
• Connect BOCLAA XR Bridge
• Improve stability and diagnose technical issues

We do not use information for advertising, behavioural profiling or selling user data.

BOCLAA XR does not collect or store the following on its own servers:

• Email addresses
• Phone numbers
• Payment card information
• GPS location
• Photos or videos from your device
• Advertising identifiers
• Personal information unrelated to providing app functionality

Any Meta account information processed through Horizon Platform is handled only as required to provide platform features described above.

• Most information is processed only during active use of the App.
• Audio recordings remain on the user’s device unless exported by the user.
• Multiplayer session information is temporary.
• BOCLAA XR does not maintain an external database of users’ personal information.
• Certain diagnostics and platform information may be retained by Meta in accordance with Meta’s own policies.

If you would like to request deletion of any information that BOCLAA XR controls, please contact:

1. Delete any information under our control, where applicable.
2. Explain how to remove information held by Meta where the information is controlled by Meta rather than BOCLAA XR.

We aim to respond to deletion requests within 30 days.
